What Will You Work On? Pharmacists are at the forefront of healthcare, providing essential pharmacy services. Duties include interpreting medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability, and ensuring medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled.
You will communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues, offer instructions on medication use, and participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials. You will also ensure all activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards.

About This Location: Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is in the Okanagan health service area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area. Located in Vernon, between Kelowna and Kamloops, VJH offers services including core physician specialties, Pharmacy, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care.
The thriving city of Vernon is home to approx. 40,000 residents, situated at the northern end of the sunny Okanagan Valley within a short drive to Kelowna International Airport and UBC Okanagan. The city is home to a diverse arts community and boasts major amenities within close proximity to three stunning lakes and Silver Star Mountain Resort.
