Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hrs/week Reports to: Executive Director Location: Assiniboine College (with travel to remote campuses) About ACSA We?re the Assiniboine College Students? Association?an independent, not-for-profit that champions students and builds community across all campuses. Why this role matters Help students navigate challenges, understand their rights, and access services?on main and remote campuses, so every student gets fair, timely support. What you’ll do Advocacy & Support: Provide confidential, impartial guidance on appeals, complaints, and policy navigation; keep clear case notes; connect students to resources. Remote Campus Engagement: Be ACSA?s point person for Dauphin, Winnipeg, Portage & more; hold office hours (virtual & on-site); support events and the Remote Campus Committee. Education & Outreach: Deliver workshops, create student-friendly resources, and train local student leaders. Reporting & Collaboration: Track trends, share quarterly updates, and bring remote-campus perspectives into ACSA planning. Governance & Admin: Attend meetings as needed; prepare minutes/reports; pitch in on major events and shared office coverage. You bring Experience in advocacy/case management and strong interpersonal communication. Sound judgment, confidentiality, and ability to work independently. Valid Class 5 driver?s licence and reliable transportation. Assets: Non-profit or student-association experience; training such as Mental Health First Aid/ASIST/NVCI; workshop facilitation; EDI knowledge; data tracking/reporting; public speaking.
