Ticket Processing & e-Disclosure Specialist – Calgary Police Service Join the Calgary Police Service in the role of Ticket Processing & e-Disclosure Specialist. This position supports policing processes including ticketing, photo enforcement and Immediate Roadside Sanctions (IRS). Base pay range: CA$33.29/hr – CA$44.52/hr Responsibilities Accurately input data from various violation tickets (e.g., street/handwritten, photo enforcement, out-of-province photo enforcement and mandatory court) into the in‑house Summons Data Entry (SUMNS) application. Ensure tickets and contraventions written by Calgary Police Officers are processed in a timely manner for the accused and the courts. Process and email officers regarding cancelled street issued and photo enforcement violation tickets. Review disclosure documents to ensure removal of sensitive, private, and personal information. Provide customer service via telephone, front counter or email to the public and members of the Calgary Police Service (CPS). Sort incoming mail and complete quality assurance checks on entered violation tickets (both street and photo enforcement). Stay current with legislation related to Immediate Roadside Sanctions (IRS) and Violation Ticketing. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency (e.g., G.E.D.) and at least one related course such as Fundamentals of Information and Records Management. Information Access and Protection of Privacy (IAPP) certificate is considered an asset. Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro for distribution, redacting, and encryption of information is an asset. Minimum data entry speed of 5,000 keystrokes per hour. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Minimum of one year experience in customer service. Experience with database systems such as JOIN (Justice Online Information Network), MOVES (Alberta Motor Vehicles System), or Windows‑based programs and Adobe Acrobat is an asset. Working Conditions Due to the nature of disclosure documents, team members may be exposed to graphic and potentially disturbing sensitive material. Pre‑employment Requirements Enhanced security clearance will be conducted. Applicants will be tested for appropriate skills. Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from abroad must have or be able to obtain an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
