As the Ticket Processing and e-Disclosure Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to policing processes including ticketing, photo enforcement and Immediate Roadside Sanctions (IRS). Primary duties include:
- Accurately input data from various violation tickets (for example: street/handwritten, photo enforcement, out-of
- Ensure tickets and contraventions written by Calgary Police Officers are processed in a timely manner so they are available to the accused and to the courts.
- Review disclosure documents to ensure the removal of sensitive, private, and personal information.
- Sort incoming mail and complete quality assurance checks on entered violation tickets (both street and photo enforcement).
- Stay current with legislation related to Immediate Roadside Sanctions (IRS) and Violation Ticketing.
**Qualifications**
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency (i.e. G.E.D.) and at least 1 job related course such as Fundamentals of Information and Records Management or related course.
- An Information Access and Protection of Privacy (IAPP) certificate is considered an asset.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro for the distribution, redacting and encryption of information would be considered an asset.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate a minimum data entry speed of 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) is required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in customer service is required.
- Previous experience with database systems such as JOIN (Justice Online Information Network), MOVES (Alberta Motor Vehicles System) or Windows-based programs and Adobe Acrobat will be considered assets.
- Success in this position requires efficiency and thoroughness, stress tolerance, service orientation, team building and teamwork. An effective communicator with a focus on results and the ability to build strong relationships.
**Working Conditions**:Due to the nature of disclosure documents, team members may be exposed to graphic and potentially disturbing sensitive material.**Pre-employment Requirements**
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- Applicants will be tested for appropriate skills.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.

Location: 5111 - 47 Street N.E.
Compensation: Pay Grade 6 $33.29 - 44.52 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
