We are seeking two (2) Senior Managers, who will lead the TTC OR 905/GO/OCT Client Contract Renegotiation projects including governance and decision-making for Payments and coordination across the corporation, with clients/municipalities, and the shareholder. The Senior Manager will be responsible for providing commercial options and strategic advice to the Director, Client Renegotiations and other Metrolinx partners and leaders. They will work in alignment and partnership with the other Senior Manager, Renegotiations. h3>

  • Program manager of all phases of TTC OR 905/GO/OCT contract renegotiation, working with internal and external resources to align objectives, facilitate design, implement plans, and ensure timely transition of new contractual obligations with minimal business and operational disruptions.
  • Identifies emerging problems, leads the management and resolution of transit agency contract-related concerns.
  • Manages initiating and prioritizing the program of work required to drive transit renegotiation strategy and delivery.
  • Provides leadership and strategic direction in leveraging Payments PMO project controls management framework to define and tailor for program context to measure project progress against a baseline plan and identify/correct deviations in order to execute new agreements with PRESTO Transit Agencies.
  • Builds and manages relationships with a broad number of internal and external stakeholders/partners, including transit agency clients, provincial/federal/municipal governments, agencies and/or communities, leveraging those relationships to advance negotiation program objectives; Partners and manages relationships with internal cross-functional departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Commercial, Planning, CEO Office) to ensure progression of negotiation program.
  • Leads the resolution of issues of corporate significance, as required to recover or protect Metrolinx’s commercial reputation, and ensure value for money and sound commercial decision-making.
    • Completion of a degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
    • Demonstrated experience in public transportation or highly complex environment delivering large projects from inception through post-implementation, transition, and operation.
    • Effective written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills to articulate and present advice, options and recommendations to senior management, executives and business clients on projects and technology solutions.
