What is it like to work as a Veterinarian at The Collegeway Animal Hospital?
  • Perform routine check-ups and examinations, including emergency interventions when necessary.
  • Administer vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases, ensuring overall health.
  • Effectively communicate with pet owners, explaining diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
  • Conduct and interpret laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples to aid in the diagnosis of various conditions.
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging techniques such as X-rays or ultrasounds to assess internal health issues in small animals.
  • Work closely with veterinary technicians to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring a comprehensive history for future reference.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in the Sciences.
  • 2+ years of experience in the veterinary industry (preferred).
  • A passion to deliver high quality customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to pick up 50lbs.
  • Spoken and Written proficiency in English (required), Arabic (preferred).

Terms of Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week), Shifts can be: Day, Night, Weekends, On CallStart Date: As soon as possibleJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $109,200 annually ($52.50 per hour)
