Duties:

  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene.
  • Perform clerical duties such as prepare invoices, process payments, schedule patient appointments, record dental procedures performed and order dental and office supplies.
  • May perform intra-oral duties such as remove sutures, take and record vital signs, apply desensitizing agents, topical anaesthetic, anticariogenic agents and coronal whitening, fabricate, place, and remove temporary crowns and restorations, and apply and remove rubber dams.
  • May also perform pulp vitality testing as well as periodontal screening and recording.

Requirements:
  • Dental assisting certification or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Cleardent Preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare instruments, take x-rays, educate patients, and ensure the smooth flow of the dental office.

You must have a dental assisting certification in Alberta.

As a Dental Assistant, you will have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients. Attention to detail and organizational abilities are crucial for maintaining accurate patient records. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is also important.
