Job Title: Developer, Visualization Specialist

Location: Montreal

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop reliable and highly scalable dashboarding and reporting solutions within a cloud architecture (Snowflake, Power BI).
  • Bring expertise, knowledge and guidance to team members relating to Analytics technology, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide expertise, support and POC’s (Proof of concept) with various Analytics infrastructure components.
  • Provide expertise in the development and maintenance of analytics reports and dashboards (Power BI).

Academic Background
Hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, statistics or mathematics and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical role.

Experience
  • 4-7 year of visualization/dashboarding designing experience.
  • Proven track record of operationalizing successful end-to-end solutions.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL and data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI..
  • Experience in CI/CD/CT pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management services such as Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git. 
  • Experience in creating and evolving data models and communicating optimal data architecture requirements.
  • Experience in writing and optimizing DAX code and Power Query scripts.
  • Experience in applying UI/UX design principles and using design solutions or frameworks.
  • Experience in an agile delivery team, preferably with Scrum.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors)
  • Knowledge of web frameworks (React/Angular) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Python is an asset. 
  • Knowledge of Tableau is an asset.
  • Knowledge of public markets, private markets, investment operations, investment accounting and investment analytics is an asset.

  • Concevoir et développer des solutions de tableaux de bord et de rapports fiables et hautement évolutifs dans une architecture en nuage (Snowflake, Power BI).
  • Apporter son expertise, ses connaissances et ses conseils aux membres de l'équipe en ce qui a trait à la technologie, aux outils et aux pratiques exemplaires en matière d'analyse.
  • Fournir une expertise, un soutien et des POC (Proof of concept) avec divers composants de l'infrastructure analytique.
  • Fournir une expertise dans le développement et la maintenance de rapports analytiques et de tableaux de bord (Power BI).

Formation académique
Titulaire d'un BAC ou d'une maîtrise en informatique, génie logiciel, statistiques ou mathématiques et/ou d'une combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience dans un rôle technique.

Expérience
  • 4 à 7 ans d'expérience dans la conception de visualisations et de tableaux de bord.
  • Expérience confirmée de l'opérationnalisation de solutions réussies de bout en bout.
  • Expérience en SQL/NoSQL et en analyse de données.
  • Expérience avec Power BI.
  • Expérience dans la mise en œuvre du pipeline CI/CD/CT à l'aide d'Azure DevOps.
  • Expérience des services de gestion des identités et des accès tels qu’Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Expérience des outils de contrôle de version tels que Git. 
  • Expérience dans la création et l'évolution de modèles de données et dans la communication des exigences optimales en matière d'architecture de données.
  • Expérience dans l'écriture et l'optimisation de code DAX et de scripts Power Query.
  • Expérience de l'application des principes de conception UI/UX et de l'utilisation de solutions ou de cadres de conception.
  • Expérience au sein d'une équipe de livraison agile, de préférence avec Scrum.
