Description:As a Senior Dental Technician – Removables you will be responsible for helping improve teeth and for replacing lost teeth. You will improve teeth for aesthetic reasons, and work to the prescription of a dentist to make bridges, crowns, and dentures.
General Responsibilities:
  • Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full
  • dentures (metal and non-metal)
  • Completes implantology procedures by fabricating prostheses to fit implants the
  • dentist places directly into the patient’s jawbone
  • Fabricating full and partial dentures, including, but not limited to, setting teeth,
  • waxing, bending wire, finishing and processing
  • Relines, repairs, occlusal rims and custom trays
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Case consulting with dentist clients
  • Helps employees improve techniques or learn new skills
  • Assistance in the management and organization of the department
  • Assist in complex cases manufacture
  • Verifies accuracy of work performed as prescribed by the client and as per
  • laboratory standards (Quality Control)
  • Must be willing to cross-train in all areas of the lab 

Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in dental technology in manufacturing removable
  • dentures; CAD design experience a plus
  • Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal
  • Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to
  • deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner
  • Must have a thorough understanding of porcelain pressing technology, crown
  • morphology, and crown and bridge case design
  • Comfortable working in a team environment to complete cases
  • Same-day denture experience is a bonus, but not required

Description:En tant que technicien dentaire principal – Amovibles, vous serez responsable de contribuer à l’amélioration des dents et au remplacement des dents perdues. Vous améliorerez les dents pour des raisons esthétiques et travaillerez selon la prescription d’un dentiste pour fabriquer des ponts, des couronnes et des prothèses dentaires.
Responsabilités Principales:
  • Remplace la perte partielle ou totale de dents naturelles par la construction de prothèses partielles ou complètes (métalliques et non métalliques)
  • Complète les procédures d'implantologie en fabriquant des prothèses pour
  • adapter les implants que le dentiste place directement dans la mâchoire du patient.
  • Fabrication de prothèses complètes et partielles, y compris, sans toutefois s’y
  • limiter, la mise en place des dents, l'épilation à la cire, le pliage du fil, la finition et le traitement.
  • Regarnissage, réparations, rebords occlusaux et gouttières personnalisées
  • Documente les actions en remplissant des formulaires, des rapports, des journaux et des enregistrements.
  • Consultation de cas avec des clients dentistes
  • Aide les employés à améliorer leurs techniques ou à acquérir de nouvelles compétences
  • Assistance à la gestion et à l’organisation du département
  • Aider à la fabrication de cas complexes
  • Vérifier l’exactitude du travail effectué tel que prescrit par le client et selon less normes du laboratoire (Contrôle qualité)
  • Doit être prêt à suivre une formation polyvalente dans tous les domaines du laboratoire

Qualifications:
  • 10 ans d’expérience en technologie dentaire dans la fabrication de prothèses amovibles; 
  • Une expérience en conception CAO est un plus
  • Doit posséder des compétences en anglais, à la fois écrites et verbales.
  • Doit posséder des compétences efficaces en matière de communication orale et de relations interpersonnelles et être capable de traiter avec tous les niveaux de personnel de manière professionnelle et efficace.
  • Doit avoir une compréhension approfondie de la technologie de pressage de la porcelaine, de la morphologie des couronnes et de la conception des boîtiers de couronnes et de ponts.
  • À l’aise de travailler dans un environnement d'équipe pour terminer des cas
  • Une expérience de prothèse le jour même est un bonus, mais n’est pas obligatoire.
