Super Save group has an opening in our Surrey, BC location for a self-motivated, high achieving Driver Evaluatorthat wishes to make a difference with our multiple divisions and markets. A Driver Evaluator would conduct roadtestsfor evaluating the driving skills of aspiring truck drivers. Their primary role is to assess how well candidates handle the vehicle and associated equipment during the road test. They ensure that the driver demonstrates safe driving practices, adheres to traffic rules, and operates the truck safely and competently.

The successful candidate would be a team player who is process oriented, adaptable and has a keen eye for the right fit, as to maximize potential and opportunities, within our safety-oriented organization by presenting our core values to prospective candidates. A transportation background and a commercial license is required.

*Required Skills*

· Experienced driver with Class 1.

· The ability to drive both Manual and Automatic Transmissions.

· Previous experience conducting road tests.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Can work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Previous Supervisor Experience considered an asset.

*Job duties*

· Work with the Recruiter to screen and identify candidates through various avenues for different driver positions.

· Conduct driver’s evaluation through road tests.

· Scheduling of equipment and drivers for road tests.

· Ensure that candidates are a good fit for positions.

· Communicate with different Managers and Recruiter on hiring needs.

· Assist in onboarding new candidates.

· Ensure that safety training is completed.

· Communicate Super Save Group’s values and benefits.
