The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance area, commencing July 1, 2025. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications for the position include:
- Ph.D. in Finance or related fields obtained in the last 3 years, although ABD near completion (within one year) will be considered.
- Strong record or promise in both research and teaching in the area.
- Research in Theoretical Asset Pricing will be given priority.
Successful candidates must have:
- Demonstrated research potential in the field of Finance.
- Ability to publish in top-tier business journals and maintain a highly productive research agenda.
- Ability to effectively teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, PhD, MFin) levels.
- Ability to communicate the relevance of their research to a business audience.
