Fonthill, Canada Hometown Life Insurance Full time

Hometown Life Insurance is looking for a Life and Travel Insurance Advisor. The successful candidate is sales driven and looking for an opportunity for personal and professional growth as part of an expanding company. Partnered with Duliban Insurance, an award-winning P&C Brokerage with a well established reputation and a large pool of existing clients to work with as an exclusive partner. You will work closely with our Principal Advisor and Directors and be accountable for the entire process, from lead acquisition, to creating and presenting applications to prospective clients. The ideal candidate would have a drive for sales and have their LLQP License.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Connect with potential clients in-person, on the phone, and digitally to gain an understanding of their life and travel insurance needs to provide informed and personalized recommendations
  • Utilize quoting platform to determine the best coverage and carrier to suit clients' needs
  • Prepare and present quotes to clients
  • Follow-up with potential clients based on outlined acquisition strategies
  • Prepare and review insurance applications to send to client for final acceptance
  • Work cooperatively with insurance carriers to deliver updates to the client throughout the process
  • Provide ongoing support to clients through the lifetime of their policy to ensure their insurance needs continue to be met
  • Prospect new leads and acquire sales
  • Build relationships with prospective clients from pre-existing relationships through a variety of business partnerships
  • Perform duties as assigned with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to a superior client experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Has experience in sales with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills
  • Aptitude to establish and develop long-lasting client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail including organization and accuracy of tasks
  • Acts with patience, professionalism and dedication to the clients best interests

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post secondary degree or diploma or relevant education and experience
  • 1 to 3 year sales experience (life and or travel insurance sales is an asset not required)
  • LLQP (Life Licensing Qualification Program) is required.

This position will have in office requirements, however a hybrid work schedule will be considered after training period has been completed.
