Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide supervision, support, and continuity of operations management services to all security guards and supervisors. The Senior Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between Wincon management, clients, and on-site staff, ensuring the proper execution of client instructions, procedures, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including client interactions, onboarding of staff, and access control.
  • Lead security operations, monitor emerging threats, and oversee incident response.
  • Provide safety measures, supervise fire alarm tests, and ensure key control for the site.
  • Conduct regular Health and Safety site inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee audits of security systems, assist in safety coordination during on-site construction, and maintain up-to-date post orders.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all procedures, support team performance, and promote staff development.
  • Train security staff and site supervisors, ensuring familiarity with emergency procedures.
  • Oversee and report on security checks, investigations, and incidents.
  • Submit reports and staff evaluations, liaise with clients, and maintain security records.
  • Develop security awareness programs and lead through empowerment.
  • Attending regular meetings with management staff

Job Qualifications

  • Valid security license under the Ontario Private Security & Investigative Services Act, 2005.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates.
  • Minimum of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); further education in security administration is an asset.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the security industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Keen attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond with patience, courtesy, and tact.
  • Ability to work independently and handle extended periods of physical activity.
  • Proficiency with various devices (phones, tablets, laptops, radios) and experience using CCTV.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Perform other duties as required by the Operations Manager and Director of Operations.
