One of our esteemed clients is expanding its corporate finance team and is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate will excel in producing consolidated financial reports, driving financial planning and analysis, implementing adaptable accounting policies, and supporting the CFO in ensuring financial governance across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and governance standards.
  • Oversee collection and consolidation of financial data for accurate evaluation of business results.
  • Lead company-wide business planning and forecasting efforts in line with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance with Divisional Controllers, providing insightful commentary.
  • Assist the CFO in establishing and monitoring consistent accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage company-wide treasury functions, including cash flow projections and optimizing working capital metrics.
  • Coordinate activities with external auditors and provide audit support as required.
  • Consolidate month-end reporting, prepare quarterly bank reporting, and support ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Manage treasury functions, including hedging and consolidated cash flow forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education with a CPA designation.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Controller or in senior-level accounting/finance management within a similar multi-divisional organization.
  • Proficiency in ASPE and/or IFRS, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computerized Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Background in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in Corporate-level treasury management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on independent problem-solving and issue resolution.
