We’re currently looking for a Project and Investment Coordinator to join our dynamic Resource Development team.Reporting to the Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships and Stewardship, the Project and Investment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating projects that build compelling fundraising and stewardships resources for Resource Development. This includes crafting and updating resources such as issue briefs, investment storyboards, PowerPoint presentations and award nominations, in collaboration with subject matter experts. This position is responsible for organizing relevant training sessions for Resource Development staff, ensuring team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Additionally, the position provides support in creating customized proposals, report backs, and engagement offerings tailored for key philanthropic investors (individual donors, corporate entities, and foundations). The Project and Investment Coordinator works as part of a highly integrated, cross functional team, working closely within Resource Development and with other United Way departments. If you are passionate about your community, aspire to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a difference, then we’re looking for youWhat you will doSupport revenue strategy (Investment Guide, Investment Storyboards, PowerPoint presentations, and Investment Info Packets)Coordinate training for the Resource Development departmentSupport investment preparation and stewardship support for key philanthropic investorsResponsible for organizing relevant training sessions for Resource Development staffSupport the creation of customized proposals, report backs, and engagement offerings tailors for key philanthropic investorsWhat you will bring Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field an assetExperience in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility an assetAttributes: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into plain language for internal and external audiences.Proficient in project coordination and management, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.Strong project coordination/management skills.Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Proven self-starter with the initiative and drive to take ownership of tasks and move projects forward independently.Ability to prioritize and be adaptable within a fast-paced environment.Thrives working both independently but also as part of a cross-functional team.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and advanced digital design skills (using In Design, Photoshop, Premier, Prezi) an asset.
