In This Role You Will…
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing high-quality service and products.
- Answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations.
- Address guest service complaints promptly and professionally, turning negative situations into positive ones.
- Enjoy making your guests' day
Restaurant Operations:
- Ensure the restaurant meets critical standards of quality, service, and cleanliness; escalate issues as needed.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Ensure adherence to standards for product preparation and equipment operation, both personally and by team members.
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking and reordering supplies as needed.
- Complete required shift documentation, including purchase orders, scheduling adjustments, and any other responsibilities assigned by the restaurant manager.
- Assist the team during busy periods or as needed, showing a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help with service, food preparation, and daily operations.
Team Leadership:
- Manage the shift by ensuring the team has all the tools they need to succeed.
- Promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding.
- Assign duties, delegate work, and provide ongoing direction and training.
- Effectively communicate with and support the Restaurant Owner, Restaurant Manager, and/or Assistant Manager.
- Encourage an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals.

- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- 1+ years of previous experience in the food service industry.
- Legal working age and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 22 kg and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
