We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team for our upcoming project, SOSA.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for all maintenance duties for our multi-family residential rental properties, including acting as the first point of contact for tenant maintenance requests, conducting preventative maintenance including performing routine building inspections, and general grounds maintenance. Your focus will be to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance requests while ensuring excellent service and positive interactions with tenants for all of our completed properties.

How You’ll Succeed

You have maintenance experience working in multi-family rental properties and have the ability to complete minor repairs in a variety of fields. Your excellent communication skills will play a key role in this position as you provide extraordinary customer service to our tenants and coordinate repair work with subcontractors. You are a critical thinker, can solve complex problems and possess organizational skills. You have the ability to multi-task and shift focus multiple times in a day. You remain conscientious of the safety of yourself and others while working.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Trade certification is an asset
  • Certified in pool maintenance an asset
  • Familiarity with multi-family building operating systems
  • Ability to manage a maintenance budget
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
  • Dependable, trustworthy and professional demeanor
  • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient with computer programs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physically fit
