St. Paul’s Foundation is seeking a Manager, Capital Campaign to be an integral part of an established, respected non-profit on the cusp of opening an incredible new hospital, research complex, and health campus. The Manager, Capital Campaign will join a team committed to ensuring donors understand their vital role in transforming healthcare in British Columbia and will help execute the current and future capital campaigns.As the preferred candidate, you have a donor or client-centric approach and understand the concepts of fundraising or sales, and relationship prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, Transformation you will be accountable for strategic planning and implementation of a collaborative capital fundraising program that engages donors in a robust campaign, offers fundraisers opportunities for donor engagement, equips fundraisers with up-to-date information, and builds the momentum of successful capital campaigns at the Foundation.Responsibilities:Create and implement a plan that supports and builds the capital fundraising campaign.Build a robust prospect development strategy to ensure a healthy pipeline for a successful capital campaign.Use the metrics and measures available to drive the capital campaign.Hold and maintain critical relationship at Providence Health Care (PHC) Redevelopment (Redev) and PCL, our construction partner.Be the knowledge expert on the capital projects.Engage with Donor Relations, Communications and other SPF teams to create meaningful recognition plans, develop campaign materials, ensure accurate reporting.Lead fundraising for Pathology, Radiology and Simulation priorities at PHC.Qualifications:Post-secondary degree in relevant discipline or diploma in fundraising.Minimum of six (6) years progressive major gift fundraising in a hospital, health care foundation, or academic development office; or high stakes sales experience in real estate or life sciences industries.Able to contribute to and participate in a positive work environment with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude.Highly effective and professional interpersonal skills and collaborative team player. Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally.A high degree of initiative, discernment and resourcefulness; thoughtfulness in decision-makingExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills.Strong attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Highly computer-literate with excellent Microsoft Office computer skills and experience with Raisers Edge or a like database.Ethical behavior: ensures own behavior is consistent with the mission and values of St. Paul’s Foundation.Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to creating a great workplace.
