We are currently seeking a Millwright Maintenance Mechanic to join our Boart Longyear team in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install CNC and robotic controlled industrial equipment.
  2. Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  3. Evaluate, prepare, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  4. Plan, organize, and perform assigned tasks in sequence with minimum supervision and direction.
  5. Read and write maintenance reports, maintenance log entries, manuals, procedures, and related instructions.
  6. Identify and report hazards and fulfill all Health and Safety, WHMIS, MSDS, and company policy requirements.
  7. Active participant and contributor to the continuous improvement process.
  8. Shift-work (including 12-hour shift rotation, when required).
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Must have permanent work authorization for Canada.
  2. Must have a valid Canadian Driver’s License.
  3. Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  4. Licensed Millwright, certified to work in Ontario as an Industrial Mechanical Millwright.
  5. Intermediate to advanced CNC and servo systems knowledge.
  6. Knowledge and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and systems.
  7. Strong computer skills.
  8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, OEM manuals, and related technical data.
  9. Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  10. Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a high-volume machining and manufacturing environment.
  11. Strong knowledge of electronic controls, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs would be considered an asset.
