How YOU will make a difference:
  • Ensuring sample identification is correct and specimen requirements are met according to established procedures.
  • Performing routine testing duties within Chemistry which includes but not limited to analyzer maintenance, calibration, QC andtroubleshooting.
  • Ensuring quality control standards are maintained, investigating missing samples and performing routine maintenance on laboratoryequipment.
  • Recording, interpreting and/or approving testresults.
  • Identifying and reporting of incidents and non-conformities
What YOU bring to the role:
  • You thrive independently, applying sound decision making principlesand ability to self-manage in fast-pacedenvironment
  • You bring a high level of interpersonal skills and you are a natural fit within a collaborative working environment
  • Carry a CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Nice to have: working experience in the Chemistry field, knowledge and understanding of CQI,knowledgeof IQMH/Accreditation Canada
