For most companies, making sense of ERP and business data continues to require high levels of human skill and effort, repetitive spreadsheet and analytical work in addition to lengthy IT projects. Most business leaders agree this isn’t right, but don't have viable alternatives. This is especially true for finance, operations and supply chain executives and their teams.

Maxa automates turning raw data from multiple ERP and core systems into a single pre-computed stream of financial, operational, and supply chain insights ready to be consumed by executives and their teams. 

About the Role

As Head of Marketing at Maxa, you will shape Maxa’s market perception and emphasize our product's value to enterprise clients and partners. You will work with founders, sales leaders, and the product team to develop our messaging, create effective campaigns, and increase adoption.

What you’ll do:

  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with prospects and customers, optimizing consistently to match market trends.
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns that clearly demonstrate the value and unique benefits of our products.
  • Develop a robust set of core materials, including messaging guides, web content, solution briefs, product videos, pitch decks, and internal enablement tools.
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy, working closely with the founders, product team and sales leadership to identify target buyer personas, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee product launch strategies to generate new leads and support existing customer expansion.
  • Create and refine internal sales tools like playbooks and battle cards that reflect a high degree of customer understanding and empathy
  • Collaborate  with Sales teams to ensure  consistent product messaging at every touchpoint.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead, recruit, train, and mentor team members
  • Continuously over-communicate existing and new messaging to all aspects of the business.
  • "Harsh food critiquing" about every word used to explain what we do and who we are in both internal and external messaging.

You’re a good fit if you have:

  • Contagious high energy 
  • 7-9 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the data analytics domain.
  • A proven experience leading successful marketing campaigns for enterprise technology products.
  • Strong understanding of the data analytics industry and its challenges
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Exceptional communication and copywriting skills, with a talent for storytelling.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative abilities.
  • Analytical mindset, leveraging data to drive marketing decisions.

You'll have an edge if you have:

  • Stellar product marketing samples to showcase as your own work.
  • Strong opinions about what is required to win.
  • Previous experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or enterprise software companies.
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or the Ecosystem
  • Experience with start-ups or earlier stage tech firms
