Role:

Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd., one of the largest individual chicken processing plants in Western Canada, is currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join our team. We're looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a factory environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshooting issues
  2. Maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment in all areas of the plant, including live end production
  3. Equipment installation
  4. Fabrication
  5. Welding
  6. Electrical
  7. Boiler checks
  8. Plumbing and machine upgrades in order to meet daily production targets and ensure a safe work environment
Requirements:

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
5th class power engineering ticket for boiler operations would be an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with food industry experience is an asset.
