Job Summary: 

The Manager of IT is responsible formaintaining and enhancing the Birchwood Automotive Group’s technologyinfrastructure and information systems. The Manager of IT provides asecure, compliant, robust, reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure andwill help direct infrastructure support strategy and operations. The Managerworks closely with the Director of IT to deliver a broad technology plan toalign technology solutions with the business operations. Working with theDirector of IT, the Manager focuses on hardware and software initiatives whichsupport the dealerships, collision centres and overall Birchwood AutomotiveGroup in achieving their objectives of ensuring customer satisfaction, growingrevenue, and achieving profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providesleadership to the TSI Technical Support team and ensures that employees receiveguidance, training, and feedback on performance. Recruits andselects new employees. Encourages and supports personal developmentplans. Mentors and coaches employees to help them deal with problemsand challenges. Creates a respectful, positive and team-orientedworking environment which instills engagement, enthusiasm, and a highmotivation to succeed. Ensures that there is an effective workingrelationship between TSI Tech Support and other areas in thecompany. Holds TSI Technical Support team members accountable forproviding good customer service and supporting other areas of the company.

· Asa key member of the TSI Technical Leadership Team, actively demonstrates apersonal, enthusiastic commitment to the company and its mission, vision,values and strategies. Contributes to the long-term direction andday-to-day operation of the TSI Technical division. Provideexceptional customer service and holds TSI Technical Support team membersaccountable for the same.

· Overseesthe day-to-day support of all production platforms to ensure availability,integrity, and confidentiality of the network, servers, telecommunicationservices, information and building security. 

· Assistsin establishing a strategic direction for TSI Technicalinitiatives. Assists the Director of IT to regularly review andrefine the strategy and operating plan based on changingcircumstances. Operates within approved budgets and ensures that TSITechnical achieves all established goals and objectives.

· Occasionalinspections of cable infrastructure in ceilings, walls and rooftops.

· Liftingand transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers andperipherals.

Qualifications:

· Degreeor diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

· Minimum8 years of IT enterprise systems experience.

· Experiencemanaging teams of 8+.

· Coreexpertise in Server Virtualization, Network Architecture, Network Security, andIT Compliance Standards.

· Coreexpertise on Microsoft 365 products, applications, and services

· Technicalleadership with proficiency in process, tools, and automation.

· Broadknowledge of network infrastructure tech (Linux, Windows, Storage, Networks,Cloud, e.g., Azure and AWS).

· Stronggrasp of WAN/LAN, internet connectivity, and current delivery concepts.

· Valid5F driver's license and own transportation to and from work

· Expertisein quality control and best practice process implementation.

· Interpretationof tech and market trends for roadmaps.

· Exceptionalleadership skills, team motivation, and positive attitude.

· Customer-focusedwith a passion for exceptional service.

· Strongproblem-solving and multitasking abilities with time management skills
