Job Overview:

The modern Lexus store is situated in South Winnipeg at 200 Lowson Crescent. Featuring a new standalone two-story building spanning 41,000 square feet, the store can accommodate up to 250 vehicles on-site and boasts brand-new service facilities.

The Automotive Technician holds a crucial position in Birchwood's quest for maximum customer satisfaction post-vehicle purchase. The ideal candidate must possess the capability to stay updated on current product knowledge, accurately estimate service and repair durations, and effectively diagnose and complete necessary work correctly on the first attempt. Making use of cutting-edge technology, the Automotive Technician will identify required repairs across a wide range of vehicles.

This role receives strong support through manufacturer training, with technicians earning full wages for training sessions conducted outside the dealership.

Requirements:

  • The perfect candidate should either be a Level 4 apprentice or Red Seal
  • High proficiency in electronic diagnostics
  • Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  • Comfortable using technology for daily repairs
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment that encourages high productivity
  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven time management and organizational abilities
  • A dedication to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, clean drivers abstract, and personal transportation to and from work are mandatory
