Overview Job Skills / Requirements Position: Security Shift Lead - Full-Time - Brockville General Hospital (75 Charles St) Site: Brockville General Hospital - 75 Charles Hours: Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700 Payrate: $22.74/hour Overtime Method: ON-Averaging Agreement OT over 88 hours Internal Posting Date: December 29, 2025 Internal Closing Date: January 5, 2026 External Closing Date: January 12, 2026 Working as a Security Guard you will be responsible for completing investigations and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols and interact with the public to provide good customer service and keep the Clients and visitors safe. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position. Steps to get your immunization records: Immunization Form: Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding) Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experience Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently Fluency in English (verbal/written) required. French is considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.) 6+ months previous security experience is preferred Previous healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an asset Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability Authorized to legally work in Canada Certification Requirements (All) First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security License Additional Information / Benefits Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE The Paladin Difference starts with our people; we're the best because we hire the best.
