Director of Project Management

We are looking for a Director of Project Management that is responsible for managing the project management team to ensure projects are delivered promptly. This position requires managing mission-critical and priority accounts. The Director of Project Management will drive the development and mentorship of the PM team. Prior digital agency experience strongly preferred. Prior management experience is required.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to help them manage their projects effectively.
- Develop and implement project management strategies that align with the agency's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize new opportunities and projects.
- Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of all web development projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and agency standards.
- Monitor project progress, address risks and issues, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Act as primary point of contact (POC) for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Work closely with sales and client services to understand client needs, set project goals and manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices in project management and ensure adherence across the team.
- Lead post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement to optimize future project delivery.
- Recruit, train and develop a high-performing project management team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
- Set performance goals for the project management team and conduct regular performance reviews (including 1/1s).
- Ad hoc projects that support the organization.
- Assisting in the development of EOS.
- Experience managing enterprise-level website implementations.
- 7+ years of related industry experience, preferably as a leader within a MarTech agency.
- 5+ years of demonstrated track record of developing senior-level client relationships - strong client references are preferred.
- 3+ years managing other team members.
- Thorough knowledge of the project management lifecycle; must be knowledgeable with both waterfall and agile project management.
- Prior experience of working as an Account Manager/Project Manager within a digital agency.
- Experience leading projects with Enterprise implementation efforts.

- Experience with Drupal and WordPress build and maintenance.
- Experience with custom software.
- Experience with AI.
- Experience leading 5-8 accounts simultaneously.
- Experience performing quality assurance testing on websites and applications.
- Experience with statement of work drafting and coordination.
