Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you 

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our  Engineering  team in  Toronto . Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as Mechanical Engineer.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems from concept to production, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

  • Perform engineering analysis using computational tools and methodologies to evaluate mechanical designs, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulation.

  • Prototyping and Testing: Coordinate prototype fabrication and testing activities, analyzing test results and iteratively refining designs to achieve performance goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product designers to integrate mechanical systems into overall product architecture.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in mechanical designs through value engineering and design optimization techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a product development environment.

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of engineering principles.

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and simulation tools.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
