Job Description

We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Engineering team in Toronto. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges. You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as Mechanical Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems from concept to production, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
  2. Perform engineering analysis using computational tools and methodologies to evaluate mechanical designs, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulation.
  3. Prototyping and Testing: Coordinate prototype fabrication and testing activities, analyzing test results and iteratively refining designs to achieve performance goals.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product designers to integrate mechanical systems into overall product architecture.
  5. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in mechanical designs through value engineering and design optimization techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a product development environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
