About MTLIFF The Montreal International Film Festival (MTLIFF) is a non‑profit organization celebrating socially impactful films and connecting creators, audiences, and communities. We are looking for passionate, entrepreneurial individuals to help expand the festival’s reach across Canada. Role Overview Lead the sales team, the weekly meetings and track progress. Lead client calls and support teammates in pitch calls. Prospect and secure new sponsorships, partnerships, and festival sales. Promote MTLIFF services, including events, memberships, media kit and festival passes. Build lasting relationships with sponsors and returning clients. Meet or exceed sales targets while keeping the team updated. Requirements Strong team leader, able to track team progress. Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Comfortable leading client sales calls on your own. Available for brief weekly team meetings. Passionate about film, arts, and community engagement. Commitment Minimum 30‑minute weekly team meeting for updates. Keep leads and tasks updated in our shared system (e.g., Jira). Compensation Compensation is commission‑based only: flat 25% commission on all deals, uncapped. Benefits Opportunity for long‑term growth and recognition for top performers.
