Job description
As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in organizing, prioritizing, delivering and assessing work for our product team to improve business outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be to drive technical activities to maintain and further develop the Revvity Signals Suite (cloud based SaaS). This platform is used by scientists in the laboratory to document scientific work. It is strongly integrated into the system landscape via API connectivity and must ensure compliance with security regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product team on the development and configuration of a cloud-based eLN platform for scientific data delivered as a service (SaaS) by the vendor.
- Integrating this solution with other systems/solutions to deliver coherent end-to-end workflow for scientists.
- Contribution to product roadmap development
- Master the product configuration
- Support the Product Manager, Product Owner and Business Analysts in managing the backlog and business analysis: technical consultancy, technical user stories.
- Stakeholder management and coordination with other teams such as DevSecOps, solution architects, integration and extensions, testing and validation teams to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, product goals and timelines.
- Develop technical design concepts and strategies for a future proof and scalable product.
- Lead a team of technical experts. Act as a thought leader in your role sharing knowledge and guide junior colleagues.
- Quality responsibility: ensuring product security, scalability, quality and performance. Functional requirements management.
- Strong technical, analytical capabilities and ability to solve problems creatively.
- Industry Trends: Keep track of industry trends related to data management and cloud platforms. Knowledge of best practice.
Qualifications
- Strong IT background (Computer Science or Engineering degree) and strong understanding and experience with software development lifecycle and DevOps
- Agile mindset, in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Scaled Agile. Working in complex settings as Agile Release Trains.
- Cloud based SaaS knowledge (Architectural Understanding, Ability to challenge technical teams and decide the optimum solution)
- Familiarity with complex system integrations. REST APIs, json
- Knowledge in enterprise user authentication: SSO, bearer token exchange
- Data Management: Knowledge of data modeling, data management, information lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Managed Services and external service providers
- Process modeling and automation
- Ability to present the technical knowledge in a simple and understandable way to the developer's team
- NALA Region is preferable
- Experience in working in a global, multicultural environment. Flexibility to work with multiple time zones (NALA and EMEA).
- Fluent in English. German is a plus
