A propos du poste:


Relevant de la Directrice corporative sante-securite du groupe NACAP, le mandat de ce nouveau poste est de coordonner les differents projets et ce, dans une perspective corporative. Il jouera tout particulierement un role clef dans le developpement de programmes et dinitiatives et aura a supporter les differents sites du groupe NACAP a linternational (2 sites au Quebec, 2 aux USA et un site aux Philippines) pour leur implantation.


Vos responsabilites:


  • A titre de representant corporatif NACAP, supporter et coordonner le developpement de projets innovants, programmes, initiatives et plans de deploiement
  • Developper des formations et outils supports afin de sassurer que les programmes soient efficaces et rencontrent les objectifs etablis
  • Supporter les sites dans limplantation de differents projets et programmes dont par exemple, un nouveau programme demission des permis de travail
  • Coordonner certaines initiatives tel que limplantation dun nouveau systeme informatise integre
  • Supporter la mise en place de requis corporatifs, actuels ou nouveaux, relies aux standards securite de Glencore dont notamment au Travail en hauteur, Cadenassage, etc.
  • Participer a latteinte des objectifs strategiques de Glencore
  • Participer a differents ateliers de travail avec les sites afin de developper des activites et programmes
  • Collaborer a la standardisation des pratiques au sein du groupe NACAP
  • Sieger sur differents comites de travail inter divisions au niveau international
  • Participer activement aux processus daudit et de verification


Competences:

  • Minimum de 7 ans dexperience en sante-securite dans un milieu industriel
  • Formation universitaire en sante-securite
  • Excellentes connaissances des standards et pratiques reliees au Travail en hauteur, Cadenassage, Espace clos, etc.
  • Bilingue anglais et francais (obligatoire)
  • Excellentes capacites danalyse et de synthese
  • Excellentes competences en redaction de programmes
  • Capable de developper des formations efficaces
  • Autonome, oriente vers les resultats et le travail dequipe
  • Habiletes a developper des liens de partenariat et de reseautage
  • Tres bonnes capacites d'organisation, dadaptation, de gestion du temps et des priorites
  • Connaissance approfondie des lois et reglements en matiere de sante et securite au travail, notamment le RSST (Quebec)
  • Maitriser la suite Microsoft Office


Deplacements: Etre en mesure de voyager occasionnellement pour se rendre dans les differents sites aux Etats-Unis, au Quebec et aux Philippines

About the role:


Reporting to the Corporate Health and Safety Lead of the NACAP Group, the mandate of this new position is to coordinate various projects from a corporate perspective. The incumbent will play a key role in the development of programs and initiatives, providing support to different NACAP group sites internationally (two sites in Quebec, two in the USA, and one in the Philippines) for their implementation.




More specifically, you will be tasked with:


  • As a NACAP health and safety coordinator, support and coordinate the development of innovative projects, programs, initiatives, and deployment plans.
  • Develop training and support tools to ensure the effectiveness of programs and meet established objectives.
  • Support sites in the implementation of various projects and programs, such as a new work permit issuance program.
  • Coordinate certain initiatives, such as the implementation of a new integrated computerized system.
  • Support the implementation of corporate requirements, current or new, related to Glencore's safety standards, including Working at Heights, Lockout/Tagout, etc.
  • Contributing to achieving Glencore's strategic objectives.
  • Participate in various workshops with sites to develop activities and programs.
  • Collaborate in standardizing practices within the NACAP group.
  • Sit on various inter-divisional working committees at the international level.
  • Actively participate in audit and verification processes.



Skills:


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in health and safety in an industrial setting.
  • University education in health and safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of standards and practices related to Working at Heights, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent program writing skills.
  • Capable of developing effective training.
  • Autonomous, results-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and networking.
  • Very good organizational, adaptation, time management, and priority management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to health and safety at work, including the RSST (Quebec).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.


Travel: Must be able to travel occasionally to various sites in the United States, Quebec, and the Philippines.


Language Requirements: Bilingual in English and French.
