Leading Pharmaceutical Companyislooking for full-timePackaging Technicians to start ASAP in North York.

FULL TIME JOB. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK.
NO CASH JOBS. SIN REQUIRED.

CSA Approved safety shoes and safety glasses are required. Training is provided.

Location: North York (Weston & Steeles)

Job Summary:Work as a team member to meet and exceed the operation targets in safety, quality, and productivity. Demonstrate safe practices and compliance when packaging required items.

Shift- Night 10:40 pm to 6:40 am (Sunday to Thursday).

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute Packaging Orders (PO) with efficiency and effectiveness according to the companystandard and regulatory requirements
  • Operate all packaging equipment within specifications and provide accurate detail to mechanical staff regarding equipment problems\
  • Maintain proper supplies of packaging components during the operations
  • Participate in the changeover process, including sanitation and set-up (assembly and disassembly)
  • Build highest quality into the products by performing all packaging duties according to relevant Standard Operation Documents (SOD’s)
  • Conduct quality checks, report all quality deviations, and exhibit Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvements at workplace and proactively prevent quality deviations from occurring
  • Ensures all work is performed in accordance with all established regulatory, compliance, safety requirements, OHSA, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs), etc
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
  • Able to lift weights up to 20 kg and meet standard physical demands in manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to express oneself clearly in English (written and verbal), understand, and follow verbal and written work instructions without errors
  • Numeric skills to understand and achieve business targets
  • Previous Packaging Operator experience in a GMP environment i.e. Food / Pharmaceutical industry is an asset
  • Basic experience in the use of internet environment and MS office tools
