Our team is growing, and we’rerecruiting a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst committed to safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the resilience of our operations for our members, employees, and other key stakeholders. This includes conducting risk assessments and control testing, , strengthening our policies and procedures, monitoring and tracking risks and supporting compliance with both internal policy and external compliance requirements. What you’ll do:

As the Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst you will conduct security threat and risk assessments on assets, systems, programs, and vendors following Prospera’s policies and methodologies. You will monitor and manage identified risks using the security risk register and vendor risk register. You will evaluate controls and test them against the security control library.

Your role is crucial in identifying potential vulnerabilities and ensuring the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of sensitive information. You will collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy, Legal, and Internal Audit and this is essential to effectively manage cyber and information security risk within the Prospera environment, including critical supply chain partners


What you bring:

  • University degree or equivalent in Computer Science or in a related field.
  • At least 5 years' expertise in information security risk management, internal audit, or compliance related roles.
  • Skilled in information security risk management frameworks, performing threat and risk assessments and security and compliance audits.
  • Proven ability to communicate with both vendors as well as technical and non-technical stakeholders to evaluate and translate risks
  • Experience developing procedures and policies both at an operational and enterprise level
  • Familiarity with information security and enterprise risk policy frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO27000, COSO, COBIT 5).
  • Knowledge of information security industry standards (NIST 800-53, ISO27002).
  • Knowledge of technical and administrative controls for security aspects including web, application, client/server, database, and network.
  • Understanding of systems and application development, system integration methodologies, IT best practices, and information security.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools (preferred).
