Job Summary: The Tool & Fastener Road Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling our range of tools and fasteners to contractors, builders, and construction companies. This role involves traveling to customer sites, building relationships, providing product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Follow up on sales leads and ensure customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Educate customers on the features, benefits, and usage of our tools and fasteners.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Use CRM software to manage customer information and track sales progress.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tools and fasteners is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
