Learning & Development

In collaboration with the Learning and Development Consultant and Specialist, the Learning Developer creates learning programs and assets to support clinical and corporate leaders and staff. The Learning Developer will design and develop adult learning programs based on best practices using various media platforms and improve learning offerings continuously.

The role also involves facilitating and delivering workshops and programs.

What we offer:

  • Rate of Pay: $34.65 to $43.31 per hour
  • Status: Temporary Part-Time up to March 31, 2026

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of culture and experience working with local Indigenous communities in Southwestern Ontario preferred
  • Certified Training & Development Professional (Adult Education) preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design
  • Advanced technical competence in graphic and multimedia authoring software
  • Experience designing learning assets reflecting diversity
  • Competency in e-learning rapid authoring tools
  • Familiarity with project management and quality assurance review cycles
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Experience designing electronic health record training materials
  • Proficient facilitation, presentation, and teaching skills
  • Commitment to patient and family-centered care and safety
  • Ability to attend work regularly

Immunization Requirements:

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against specified diseases
  • Provide documentation of Tuberculosis skin testing
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination

Teaching, Learning and Research:

LHSC collaborates with over 55 educational institutions, providing training to approximately 2,900 students annually.
