Immigration Lawyer/ Litigator

Working location: Remote, hybrid OR in-person (Winnipeg head office)

Salary: depending on experience

Terms of employment: Full-time

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English (French proficiency is a plus)

Education: Law degree and licensed (in good standing) to practice law in Canada

Experience: MINIMUM 1-3 years of Immigration experience, with an emphasis on submitting judicial review and appeals (TR and PR applicants)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize files and assess eligibility for Judicial Review, immigration appeals, temporary residence (Work permit, Study permit, TRV, etc.) and permanent residence applications
  • Prepare, review, and submit applications in a high-volume environment
  • Work on applications to be submitted to POEs, IRCC, ESDC, etc. This includes;
  • Filling out forms, drafting letters of motivation, cover letters and submitting and compiling documents to support the application.
  • Carrying out from start to finish each particular process for each client.
  • Researching law, procedures and developments in immigration law
  • Proactively participate in legal assistant training.
  • Be willing to participate in social media videos promoting TTN Immigration Consulting Inc.’s team

Requirements:

  • Law degree and licensed (in good standing) to practice law in Canada
  • Knowledge of Canadian immigration practices and procedures with AT LEAST 1-3 YEARS of experience in Canadian immigration litigation
  • Ability to multi-task and take on a variety of projects.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, use initiative and work well under pressure
  • Be able to maintain professional and impeccable relations with co-workers and clients.
  • Flexible and autonomous.
