Summary

The overall function of the Project Engineer is to assist the project management group in the coordination of discipline engineering and design of oil & gas projects. Equinox Engineering is currently searching for an Intermediate Project Engineer.

Key Skills
  1. Must possess good technical knowledge in Oil and Gas processing
  2. Gas Processing experience is a must have
  3. Pipeline and Heavy Oil experience is an asset
  4. Strong technical foundation in graduated discipline and inter-discipline roles
  5. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently and managing a multi-disciplinary team
  6. Strong focus on quality
Technical Responsibilities
  1. The Project Engineer works as a key part of the project management group to assist in coordination of discipline engineering and design of oil & gas projects.
  2. Assists the Project Team in ensuring compliance with all regulatory processes, codes, and standards.
  3. Coordinates and conducts design reviews with the discipline groups and the client to ensure all parties have made the required input to the design towards delivering construction work packages as per project schedule.
  4. Coordinates with vendors on all technical matters.
  5. Participates and works on all bid evaluations.
  6. Prepares weekly and monthly reporting, design recommendations, and other technical reports required by the client.
Educational Qualifications
  1. Successful candidate will be a P.Eng with APEGA Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree.
  2. 5 – 10 years’ experience in an EPCM Oil & Gas engineering environment.
