About The Role

Reporting to the Project Foreman and the Electrical Senior Foreman, the Apprentice Electrician will work with the Projects team to meet specified requirements from internal and external customers on a contract basis. There may be an opportunity for full-time, permanent employment or to extend the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret blueprints and schematics to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment;
  • Travel to commercial and industrial client sites across the Lower Mainland and/or Okanagan Valley;
  • Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations;
  • Provide support to our Journeyperson Electricians;
  • Complete all paperwork as required.
What You Bring

The ideal candidate has completed their 1st year Electrical Apprenticeship program and has experience working on commercial or industrial sites. You have a desire to grow and advance your career as an Electrician through hands-on learning and mentorship. You are described as someone who does the right thing and goes the extra mile, fueled by the opportunity to try new things, investigate problems, and create customized solutions.

Our Must Haves:

  • Completion of 2nd year Electrical Apprenticeship;
  • Own personal hand tools and approved footwear;
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and have reliable transportation;
  • Experience working in industrial or commercial services is considered an asset.

  • Wage: $19.35-$34.53 per hour
