Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility inEtobicoke, as the Material Handler :

-Receiving and warehousing duties, including unloading trailers and inspecting materials.
-Assist baler with removal of bales of scrap for recycling.
-Operate fork lift, hand truck, tow motor or other equipment to unload, transport and store supplies, materials, equipment and stock.
-Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
-Turn in maintenance orders to supervisor for repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
-Adhere to production schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Report any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
-Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
-Ensure compliance with set policies and procedures within I.S.O.
-Safety oriented with working knowledge of OHSA and WHMIS
-Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by supervisor.

-Valid Lift truck Certification and ability to display safe and proficient operation
-Minimum three years experience in manufacturing environment with preference given to Corrugated/Packaging industry experience.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows an asset
-Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
-Strong understanding of Health & Safety Rules and Regulations;
-Ability to prioritize many tasks and execute results, which will promote customer satisfaction;
-Ability to deal with conflict, stress and time constraints in an efficient, professional, courteous manner;
