  • Are experienced in all aspects of the real estate business, including due diligence, community planning, municipal entitlements, budgeting & financial underwriting, cost controls, construction, and real estate sales.

You will

  • Be an integral part of a team that manages the acquisition, planning, entitlement, and development of master-planned communities
  • Prepare, manage, and own all aspects of the land development projects, from the big-picture vision and financial pro forma to the essential details of cost controls, invoices, and forecasts.
  • Lead a team of multi-disciplinary consultants and contractors through the land development process while continuing to seek out innovative solutions and improve efficiencies
  • Provide direction to obtain development approvals and work with consultants to value engineer servicing strategies, community layout, and construction methodologies for new and existing subdivisions
  • Be responsible for project scheduling, identifying, and achieving target dates by utilizing practical project management abilities and being accountable to the team
  • Liaise with approving authorities on navigating and obtaining subdivision and engineering approvals
  • Engage in contractor negotiations, including review and recommendations to award contracts
  • Be responsible for completion of construction on time, on budget and on vision
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience for our business partners and customers
  • Ensure community appearance and cleanliness meet the highest industry standards
  • Stay current on the housing market, including understanding the competitive environment
  • Represent the company at industry events, client events and stakeholder functions
  • Be a champion of finding new and better ways of doing things; continuous improvement is in your DNA

You have

  • A passion for the real estate industry and desire to join a best-in-class team to achieve results for Anthem and its partners
  • 8+ years of experience in land development and/or consulting experience
  • Post-secondary degree related to real estate industry required
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the land development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle (parking provided).
