Dawn staffing on behalf of its client is seeking applications for Full-Time IT Administrator role.

Duties And Responsibilities

Assist in all hardware rollout projects.

Provide after hours and on-call support to all users as required.

Independently complete projects as assigned.

Troubleshoot and document 1st / 2nd level hardware and software technical support issues for internal users within all functional areas of the company.

Create and update process documentation and network and other diagrams.

Monitoring and administering system/ server / network performance to ensure system continuity and network connectivity of all workstations.

Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.

Monitoring security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems.

Manage outside vendor support to resolve tickets as needed.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in information and Communication Technology or related discipline

Knowledge and experience in VMware and Network/Storage technologies.

Knowledge and experience in setup and maintenance of HP and Zebra industrial label printers

Microsoft Certified Professional certifications an asset (MCP, Etc.)

A+, Network+ or similar certification(s) would be considered an asset

Manufacturing environment experience considered an asset.

Experience With Microsoft Products Including

  • Windows NT 4 to current versions
  • Active Directory and GPO management
  • Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Power Shell

Sophos UTM, SG/XG, and Sophos Central experience considered an asset.

HP Aruba switch knowledge considered an asset.

Experience in telephony systems including configuration considered an asset.

Veeam software experience considered an asset.

Demonstrated analytical skills
