Contract Controller

Our client is seeking a Contract Controller to join their team in Calgary. The successful individual will have an integral role in the company. This position will appeal to individuals who are highly motivated, a self-starter and enjoy a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

  • Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Reporting process.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual external Financial Statements and related note disclosures.
  • Preparation of quarterly MD&A and related support.
  • Preparation of Audit Committee materials.
  • Liaison with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and year end audits.
  • Lead tax compliance requirements, including corporate returns and quarterly provisions.
  • Assist in budget/forecast process as required
  • Review contracts for financial reporting impacts.
  • Complete special projects as required.

Your strengths include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and CPA
  • 5+ years’ of financial reporting experience in the crude oil and natural gas industry
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
