Résumé Du Poste

L'écrivain médical développe du contenu médical et scientifique pour les programmes de formation à utiliser dans les industries pharmaceutiques et des dispositifs médicaux. Collaborant sous la direction d'un stratège médical, le contenu du projet est développé et référencé selon les spécifications du projet et en partenariat avec d'autres départements.

Responsabilités

Le rédacteur médical rédige le contenu du programme de formation médicale, scientifique et stratégique en collaboration avec le stratège du projet :

  • Recherche de la littérature et du matériel client pour distiller l'information médicale et scientifique d'une manière bien organisée et grammaticalement correcte
  • Référence le contenu écrit selon les SOP internes et les spécifications du client tout en assurant l'exactitude, la validité scientifique et la pertinence
  • S'assure que le contenu respecte les spécifications du client et répond aux besoins de formation décrits dans le mandat du projet
  • Utilise le ton et le langage appropriés pour s'aligner sur les normes médicales / juridiques / réglementaires (MLR) de l'industrie pour la conformité
  • Collabore avec des graphistes pour produire des visuels pour compléter la copie écrite et s'associe à des développeurs et / ou des graphistes pour écrire des storyboards pour divers médias interactifs (eLearning, vidéos, etc.)
  • Travaille avec tous les membres de l'équipe et les départements pour produire un projet uniforme
  • Aide à l'exécution de diverses tâches à la demande de la gestion de contenu

Qualifications Requises

  • Diplôme d'études supérieures en médecine / sciences de la vie ou l'équivalent (par exemple, domaine bio-médical)
  • Minimum de 1 an d'expérience connexe
  • Maîtrise exceptionnelle de l'anglais (à l'écrit et à l'oral) ; connaissance pratique du français
  • Solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
  • Capacité de respecter les délais et multitâche
  • À l'aise de travailler dans un environnement collaboratif au rythme rapide
  • Compétences en informatique : Microsoft Office (intermédiaire ou avancé)

Job Summary

The Medical Writer develops medical and scientific content for training programs to be used in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Collaborating under the direction of a Medical Strategist, the project content is developed and referenced according to the project specifications and in partnership with other departments.

Responsibilities

The Medical Writer writes medical, scientific, and strategic training program content in collaboration with the project’s Strategist:

  • Researches literature and client materials to distill medical/scientific information in a well-organized and grammatically correct manner
  • References written content according to internal SOPs and client specifications while ensuring accuracy, scientific validity, and relevance
  • Ensures that content follows client specifications and fulfills the training need as outlined in project mandate
  • Uses appropriate tone and language to align to medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) standards of the industry for compliance
  • Collaborates with Graphic Artists to produce visuals to complement written copy and partners with Developers and/or Graphics Artists to write storyboards for various interactive media (eLearning, videos, etc)
  • Works with all team members and departments to produce a uniform project
  • Assists in carrying out various duties as requested by Content management

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Medical/Life Sciences field or equivalent (eg, Bio-Medical field)
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Outstanding proficiency in English (both written and oral); working knowledge of French
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced)
