As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.DutiesHelp manage a portfolio of existing clients with a significant level of annual brokerageAssist with the generation of new revenueAchieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service through managing the overall reinsurance placement processBe viewed by clients as a strategic partnerFocus on helping senior leaders grow existing accounts and attract new accountsAchieve treaty placement goals for client portfolios of business at or above set levelsBe recognized as an expert with outstanding problem-solving abilities and top notch client relationship management capabilitiesBuild and maintain effective working relationships with clients and reinsurersWork closely with management to establish and implement strategy for new business developmentInform clients about other Aon products and services that can help them manage their business needsEnsure all placements are checked and booked in our proprietary systemEnsure that comprehensive and accurate contracts document the relationship between cedant and reinsurerSpeak effectively to clients and professional groupsRepresent Aon externally through professional associations and industry groupsDemonstrate leadership within Aon and the insurance/reinsurance industryHave superior knowledge of the service offerings of AonWork with management to research and develop new approaches and conceptsFoster and promote a team approach to both internal and external business relationshipsBe committed to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance and associated analyticsRequirementsCompletion of secondary school is required.A college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or related field is preferred.Must have 15 months of treaty and reinsurance experience.Demonstrated experience in pricing treaty structures using detailed client data or abstract industry data to provide cost-benefit analysis and pricing guidance to clients.Experience with researching and building assumptions for multi-year cost budgeting.Experience with planning successful client and reinsurer events locally and internationally.Able to leverage relationships and technical arguments to successfully negotiate reinsurance contracts.Strong interpersonal skills for client engagement and relationship building.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Entrepreneurial mindset with accountability for profitability and client satisfaction.Effective organizational and time management skills.Independent self-starter committed to high-quality client service.Strong analytical skills for business decision-making.Proactive problem-solving and adaptability to change.How This Opportunity Is DifferentThis role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact by supporting insurance companies in providing financial security to Canadians.
