Job Description

The focus of the Treasury Analyst role is safeguarding the cash assets of the Company and improving treasury operational processes in both the U.S. and Canada. The Treasury Analyst will support solving business problems, creating efficiencies in processes while aligning with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements and accounting requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting various bank account opening / closing documents
  • Responsible for daily cash position reporting and monthly bank balance reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating banking authorized signatory list
  • Responsible for maintaining the banking portals; creating new users, adding bank accounts and resetting passwords
  • Responsible for troubleshooting banking related requests
  • Download and distribution of relevant bank statements
  • Support the treasury team as required on daily treasury activities
  • Assist in managing banking relationships
  • Support in exploring technologies in banking and cash management products and services; implement and improve processes and systems optimize efficiency, quality and excellence with a focus on payment services
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities for improving the quality of and satisfaction with the Treasury Operations processes
  • Work directly with Accounting and Account Payables to understand issues, and collaborate with colleagues and other departments to proactively and efficiently reach business objectives
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects related to corporate finance as required
Qualifications:
  • Understands and applies procedures, regulations, and policies related to areas of specialized expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to challenge the status quo and improve processes
Minimum Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in roles with direct exposure to treasury administrator functions
  • Experience in cash management, payment solutions and procurement
Preferred Attributes:
  • BA in Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience will be considered
