RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide training to Whirlpool’s trade partner, key influencers, and internal partners to increase sales and generate revenue while increasing brand loyalty
  • Creating engaging and timely content using a variety of software and tools along with participating in various virtual and in person training events.
  • Responsible for creating, curating, sharing and maintaining content found on our trade facing website and are a resource for other functions within Whirlpool Canada.
  • Develop new training ‘experiences’ and innovative demonstrations to improve engagement and knowledge retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams and individuals such as Product Managers, Account Managers and National Account Managers along with additional key supporting roles within Whirlpool both at head office and the field.
  • Interface with multiple stakeholders to be aware of product launches and become experts to support the launch
  • Work with brand and category managers to ensure up to date training information while supporting the brands launch initiatives
  • Maintain close communication with field sales to ensure training content relates to the current market environment
  • Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
  • Design effective training programs
  • Select and book venues
  • Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
  • Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
  • Support and mentor new employees
  • Keep attendance and other records
  • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training
  • Delivery post-training take-aways and surveys


QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree, required
  • Bilingual (English/French), required
  • Background in Service, considered an asset
  • Superior communication and presentation skills with an innovative mind
  • Strong computer skills and initiative to develop further
  • Self-initiative to understand our products, their features & consumer benefits as well as competitors
  • Passion for retail, product knowledge and comfortable being in front of an audience both online and in person
  • Detail orientated
  • Team player that exhibits exceptional relationship building, cross-functional and communication skills
  • Flexible with work and personal schedules to meet training commitments
  • Some evening, weekends and flex schedule time required as well as travel
  • Available to travel up to 50% of role
  • Possess a reliable automobile for driving, position requires overnight travel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Aperçu du poste/Responsabilités clés

● Fournir une formation au partenaire commercial de Whirlpool, aux influenceurs clés et aux partenaires internes pour augmenter les ventes et générer des revenus tout en augmentant la fidélité à la marque

● Créer un contenu engageant et opportun à l'aide d'une variété de logiciels et d'outils et participer à divers événements de formation virtuels et en personne.

● Responsable de la création, de la conservation, du partage et de la maintenance du contenu trouvé sur notre site Web destiné aux professionnels et est une ressource pour d'autres fonctions au sein de Whirlpool Canada.

● Développer de nouvelles « expériences » de formation et des démonstrations innovantes pour améliorer l'engagement et la rétention des connaissances

● Collaborer avec des équipes internes et des personnes telles que les chefs de produit, les responsables de comptes et les responsables de comptes nationaux, ainsi que des rôles de soutien clés supplémentaires au sein de Whirlpool, tant au siège social que sur le terrain.

● Interface avec plusieurs parties prenantes pour être au courant des lancements de produits et devenir des experts pour soutenir le lancement

● Travailler avec les responsables de marque et de catégorie pour garantir des informations de formation à jour tout en soutenant les initiatives de lancement des marques

● Maintenir une communication étroite avec les ventes sur le terrain pour s'assurer que le contenu de la formation est lié à l'environnement actuel du marché

● Assurer la liaison avec les managers pour déterminer les besoins de formation et planifier les sessions de formation

● Concevoir des programmes de formation efficaces

● Sélectionner et réserver des lieux

● Organiser des séminaires, des ateliers, des sessions de formation individuelles, etc.

● Préparer du matériel pédagogique tel que des résumés de modules, des vidéos, etc.

● Soutenir et encadrer les nouveaux employés

● Tenir des registres de présence et autres

● Mener des évaluations pour identifier les domaines d'amélioration

● Surveiller les performances des employés et la réponse à la formation

● Livraison des conclusions et enquêtes post-formation


Formation, qualifications et connaissances requises :

● Diplôme universitaire, requis

● Bilingue (anglais/français), requis

● Expérience en service, considérée comme un atout

● Compétences supérieures en communication et en présentation avec un esprit innovant

● Solides compétences en informatique et esprit d'initiative pour développer davantage

● Auto-initiative pour comprendre nos produits, leurs caractéristiques et avantages pour le consommateur ainsi que nos concurrents

● Passion pour la vente au détail, connaissance des produits et aisance devant un public en ligne et en personne

● Souci du détail

● Esprit d'équipe qui fait preuve de compétences exceptionnelles en matière d'établissement de relations, d'interfonctionnalité et de communication

● Flexible avec des horaires de travail et personnels pour répondre aux engagements de formation

● Certains soirs, week-ends et horaires flexibles requis ainsi que des déplacements

● Disponible pour voyager jusqu'à 50 % du rôle
