Location: These positions may be located at any of the Saskatchewan branch locations (subject to desk availability in the branch) and may be available for remote or hybrid work opportunities once training requirements have been met. This is at the discretion of the manager.

This job has been provisionally rated. As a result, the pay range is subject to change upon final job evaluation review by the Job Evaluation Committee.

SGI is looking for Dispute Resolution Specialists to review, investigate, monitor, and provide timely resolutions to mediations and appeals on injury claim files.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Can leverage your knowledge of insurance and healthcare systems to support a person’s vocational and medical rehabilitation.
  • Are able to provide specialized support in the field of interpretation and application of current and historic versions of legislation, policies, and procedures in the adjustment of Injury Benefit claims.
  • Can apply technical information based on legislation and polices to assist with difficult conversations.
  • Want to leverage your leadership skills for good – like actively supporting SGI’s culture, expanding your own learning and supporting your colleagues as they do the same.

Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study, such as Business, Social Sciences or Heath Sciences, and 5 - 7 years’ experience in claims adjusting with internal/external business partners and at least 3 years of injury claims experience.
