We are currently looking for a capable and dependable Electrical Estimator with the primary responsibility of preparing estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
  • Calculate takeoff based upon drawings and blueprints.
  • Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings.
  • Calculate labour and material costs for projects.
  • Work with management to prepare final quotes.
  • Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submissions.
  • Ability to work with a variety of talented teams; team skills are an integral part of the position as you will require multiple departments within the organization to execute the work being bid .

What you’ll need:

  • Electrical background with experience on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Automation experience is an asset.
  • 2+ years electrical estimating experience.
  • Strong business development and project management skills (preferred).
  • Journeyman electrician ticket or engineering technologist (preferred) with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work alone or in a team.

Hours of Work

Hours of work will typically be Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Overtime and weekends if demands deem necessary.
