Fundraising Development Coordinator

Saskatoon, Canada RAP (Saskatoon Restorative Action Program Inc.) Full time

Position Overview: 

The Fundraising Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in advancing the fund development efforts of RAP (Restorative Action Program). This half-time position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, focused on professional interaction with donors and volunteers. Reporting to the President of RAP, this role involves administrative duties, database management, and coordination and execution of fundraising activities. 


Responsibilities: 

1. Administration 

● Manage fundraising logistics, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and preparing materials. 

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records. 

● Respond to inquiries in person, on the phone, or in writing. 

● Coordinating and executing fund development plans, including logistics, communications, and follow-up. 

● Assist with prospect research, database management, and donor recognition as assigned by the President. 


2. Volunteer Management 

● Act as the primary contact for volunteers wanting to support RAP fundraising activities. 

● Schedule regular volunteer meetings and maintain ongoing communication with volunteers to inform them of updates and opportunities related to the RAP fund development efforts. 

● Track volunteer participation and recognize volunteers for their contributions. 3. Fund Development 

● Develop an annual fundraising plan in conjunction with the RAP President and Fundraising and Communications Committee, and lead, manage, and track its implementation. 

● Research granting opportunities and apply accordingly.

● Coordinate major fundraising events. 


Qualifications: 

● Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage tight timelines. ● Ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs and expectations of donors and volunteers. 

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

● Demonstrated track record in nonprofit fundraising, including building an individual donor program, cultivation of major gifts, and experience in organizing events and working with partners. 

● Competency in Google Drive, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs; familiarity with donor database programs; graphic design skills a plus. 

● Ability to relate effectively with diverse audiences, including RAP board members, major donors, media outlets, and community audiences. 

● Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, problem solve, and work as part of a cohesive and collaborative team. 


Salary: 

The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications ( salary range $25-40,000)
