Agilus is recruiting for a Surface Land Analyst in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. As a Surface Land Analyst, you will be working within the Surface Land team, supporting the E&PS (Environmental and Property Solutions) team and collaborating with the area Land Agent.

Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the Client with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Prepare and process all documents required for land access for well-sites, pipelines, and remediation/reclamation sites, ensuring accurate management of the CS Explorer land system to assure data integrity and compliance with obligations.
  3. Respond to external partner queries (landowners, third parties, queries from Controllers) and work closely with the Client Budapest GBC analysts (Global Business Center) on various tasks and assignments.
  4. Attend E&PS team meetings as required and possess a solid understanding of current industry policies and regulations affecting surface rights.
  5. Review, thoroughly understand, and adhere to all Surface Land and Corporate procedures including business controls, cybersecurity, and all other corporate policies.
  6. Exhibit sound business judgment with effective analytical skills and a strong work ethic.
  7. Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and team skills, thriving in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  8. Have working or advanced level knowledge of CS Explorer (or other land systems), IHS AccuMap, SPIN, Abadata, and Microsoft Office suite.
  9. Handle other projects as assigned.

Successful candidates will have:

  1. 8 years+ experience as a Surface Land Analyst/administrator with a proven record in a similar role.
  2. Graduation from an accredited Surface Land Program or relevant experience.

Total rewards:

  1. 8 Months of Contract position
  2. 5 days on / 2 days off
